How did the product come into being?
I am a business traveler on the road
every week. When I arrived at my hotel room, my clothes frequently
needed a touch-up with a hot iron. Since hotels provide irons, but
no spray starch, I shopped around for a sensibly sized container,
but, found only those ungainly aerosol cans. As you probably know,
the nozzles on those cans often break off before the can is half-used!
Besides, who wants to cart around a cumbersome can of spray starch
in an already overcrowded suitcase? When you have limited space
in your luggage and you are trying to decide—spray starch or shoes—which
do you choose?
So, I started experimenting with different
formulas and came up with a product that
does the same job as the stuff produced by the big companies and without
the pressurization. Then I experimented with different scents just
to try to make ironing a little more pleasant. After many trail runs,
I developed two scents that seem to appeal to both men and women – lavender and citrus/melon. I then found some small travel size spray bottles that easily fit in my suitcase and I began using the scented starch on the road and at home. This 8 ounce bottle lasts quite a while, and when it’s
empty, I just refill the bottle it. No

Target Group:
My first thought was to market this product to business travelers, but quickly realized that this product would be useful on the road and at home, too!
